Ready for your baby's big arrival? Start packing about two weeks before your due date to make sure you have enough time. Here are some suggestions on what to bring with you.
Diapers: Bring at least 3-4 super-absorbent diapers. Ensure that your chosen brand maintains fit, comfort, and functionality.
Wipes: We strongly recommend buying wipes with a wipe carrier so that they do not dry out. Additionally the wipes should be thick, moist, and sturdy.
Hand Sanitiser: The truth is that everyone will want to touch your baby. It's a beautiful thing. But please insist that everyone sanitise their hands before touching the baby.
Diaper Sacks: Because you don't want to be THAT person who leaves a rancid diaper in the bin. Do everyone a favour by picking one with a fresh baby fragrance.
Rash Cream: Choose a cream with an adequate amount of zinc oxide and one that has a smooth texture; thin enough to go on easily but thick enough to stick to skin.
Burp Cloth: Consider a burp cloth that is made of organic cotton that is generously sized to absorb dribbles, and yet breathable to keep baby cozy, dry, and comfy.
Diaper Bag: Depending on where you stand on the subject of needing a designated "changing bag" but if you do fancy one, please buy one that isn't too "twee"; no bunny rabbits or pink elephants. In 2017, we recommend using a proper backpack. It's spacious enough to carry diapers, toys, changing mat; will free up your hands to hold your baby; the padded shoulder straps will provide comfort.
